The golden haired boy who grew up with a silver spoon is his mouth, is throwing a tantrum because people aren't jumping to his barks. Really sorry I encouraged him with my vote. I was duped, like most, with what he said during his campaigns vs what he has delivered since surrendering to Miriam Adelson and the zionist zealots. Russia has been in the gun sights of Khazarians ever since they evicted them from the region of Ukraine in olden times.

I am afraid, it was not a matter of "someone else" saying or writing that. That is Trump in classic style. He say whatever comes to him, forgets it, and when confronted with it resort to blanc memory.

That is one of his dangerous gaps.

Trump thinks that making negotiation is him dictating the clauses for the other parties to accept them as stated. He has no clue of international dispute resolution. Just think of his logic on putting tariff on Russian oil. His ministers too lack the competence and those who did are too coward to tell him less they get kick out of the club.

Moreover, Zelensky is not obligated to remain faithful to giving away Uktraine minerals to Trump and his cronies the question though is: At what costs to Ukraine?

Trump cannot compete with Putin a masterclass politician. What does Trump knows about politics and geopolitics? ZIP!

Trump talks elementary expecting the media to flesh it out for him then he can reframe it.

The Trump administration is embarrassing itself with this Trumpian, childish hissy fit. Try real, honest to goodness diplomacy. Unless Trump is coming unhinged, he ought to tone down the threatening, bloviating posture and take a respectful approach to Russia and Russia's legitimate security concerns. The Zelenskyy/Nazi regime, which brought 3 long years of ruinous war to Ukraine is on the ropes and The Russian Federation is prevailing in this conflict. The world has long since grown tired of the threatening, hegemonic tone of successive U.S. governments as they've tried to apply bully tactics to get their way.

Don't try to bully Russia - it won't work. The U.S. has had a significant role to play in creating this mess and now it's time to clean it up. Tone down the ego, employ legitimate diplomacy and get rid of the unelected dictator Zelenskyy.

Trump the dummy… I guess someone must be capable of learning before they can actually learn. No one who is installed/elected in America has this capability, because that would make them dangerous to their owners and empire handlers.

trump is a senile bully who cannot recall what he says from one minute to the next. his lies confuse his tangled mental state. recall his feeble sanctions caused unprecedented wealth for russia. trump is a joke who takes himself seriously but no one else does.

Thanks, Rachel, for your analysis on the war between Russia and Ukraine.

I think NATO is responsible for this war and the prior war in 2014. NATO lied to Russia back in 1990, when they said they wouldn’t add NATO members east of Germany. Since that promise was made, there are 14 NATO countries east of Germany, including six that border Russia.

Combine with that the anti-Putin rhetoric, referring to him as a war criminal, dictator, thug, etc. Add to that Ukraine is getting armed with tons of military equipment by NATO, with periodic discussions of adding Ukraine to NATO, depending on who the US president is. When you add all those factors together, I see Russia’s point. They have a right to defend themselves.

I would ask those politicians in the United States who believe we should continue to fund this war indefinitely to consider this scenario: what if Mexico, Canada, Cuba, and other countries near the United States were members of an anti-American alliance and receiving tons of military equipment from that anti-American alliance, how would they suggest the United States respond to that? It seems reasonable to think that anyone In the United States would view such actions as provocative and a threat to America's security/sovereignty. Why should Russia feel any differently?

I've written a couple of columns about this, this is the first one which provides more of a historical context to why we are where we're at, and a solution to end the war, which will be good for everybody. Apologies ahead of time for lack of spacing in the column, and thanks for your attention.
