If Russia wanted to win the war, they could've applied overwhelming force and firepower and won it 2+ years ago. Instead, they've created a mess with their hesitation and half-measures.

Russia is correct in wanting to win the war.
Anything else is just half-assed.
Only then will some form of peace come over the region.
